I think the prize for best police reports associated with the Champions cup in Apokpa goes to the woman that threatened "teach your kid to play soccer" "I will run him over" if see him again.

I don't understand why these people are not sanctioned or banned? People threatening kids with bodily harm? Did I read that correctly? Coaches assaulting children? What?

These people need to be sent home, coaches and parents. Why are they permitted to keep showing up? Ban them and sanction them and the problems go away. Simple...

I witnessed the assault and the coach should be banned. If it were my kid he push. The coach would not of walked off the field he would of been rolled off and eating threw a tube.

These people should immediately be escorted off the fields and banned from the tournament. I cannot believe we tolerate this garbage. If someone walked into my kids school and started pushing kids around, he would immediately be issued a restraining order and a security bulletin would go out. If he walked into my business and threatened to kill someone, I would have them pursued to the fullest extent of the law to protect my employees and customers. Why do we accept this on a soccer field?

Our boys played back to back weeks in this area and I had to see with my own eyes and hear with my own ears what was being said by the other players right in front of the ref to be only verbally warned. This is what brings out the worst in parents. Heard a kid f-bomb my kid for about 2 minutes straight and ended with "Ill kick you in the f'n face next time", what did he get, a verbal warning. Saw a kid walk up to a player who just fell down and started to sit up deliver a nice knee to his head right in front of the ref, what did he get, a verbal warning. Saw a kid grab hold of a kid as the ball was going out of bounds an threw the kid to the ground, guess what, a verbal warning. And people wonder why parents lose their fricken minds sometimes. Don't get me wrong, parents can be the agitator for the whole issue. I loved hearing two different fathers walking up and down the sidelines telling there sons to kick my son in the face. I loved how they said it in spanish, as if no one understands spanish in the area. Crazy

Like the poster talking about a business, what would you think of a business owner that took no steps to prevent previous perpetrators of crime on their premise? I bet Disney bans trouble makers and people who commit crimes on their property from their property. Soccer should do the same thing.

A coach torching a player should automatically be Gone!! No questions asked! This was a minimum of assault. I was there I saw what went down and I would of hurt the dude if it were my child. I would of been the one needing to be bailed out.
