Many spent their entire playing career in Sunrise.

The Sunrise club should be ashamed and embarrassed that this well respected club full of college commits recruits players and does not Develop them but take the credit.

They will promise you whatever you want to hear and then once you sign up, they screw you over. They want good caliber players that are already trained to add to their squad. The coaches at this club do not know how to develop player since none of those coaches played professional soccer. Not interested in Scumrise or there loud mouth parents.

Sunrise is so happy to poach players from Knights, Weston, West Pines, Boca United, Team Boca, Parkland, Cooper City, and Coral Springs to build the sunrise teams. You recruit but everyone knows that you don’t develop your players. You tell parents that your child needs private training and you charge for that as well. When the fields are closed the club charges the teams to rent other fields. This club has nothing to offer but to spend your hard earned money and at the end of the season your child is stagnate. Do your homework and inquire why so many families with STARTERS are leaving Sunrise.

Which program are you talking about?

They are clearly talking about Sunrise. They steal players from every club in sf. This is why coaches and clubs do not like Sunrise. Other coaches take the time to develop them and you recruit them. Why is Sunrise getting the credit for the players getting offers and obtaining commitment from colleges if they have not done a thing for these players? The players worked hard and they received an offer because of the training, development achieved, and the prior coaches who helped them evolve as a top player.

Bad coaches are the ones that just care to win and making themselves look good. These type of coaches play favorites even though the players do not attend practice often but start at all the games. They recruits other players just because of their skills are not real coaches. These type of coaches all they do is yell and make the players feel bad. A coach shouldn't bring down your self-esteem. Being hard on the team, but not to where they can't stand you as a coach.
A good coach is someone who doesn't get mad if you lose or make a mistake but he pushes you to the limit to encourage you to do better. Players don't need to feel nervous and put down at the same time. Coaches who take the players and actually works with them to improve them are great coaches. A good coach supports, teaches, and develops the players. This type of coach motivates a team to win from what the coach taught them every practice.
You can accomplish more with being a good coach then a bad one. Sunrise actually has bad coaches who don’t care about the players or the parents and greed is #1 for them.

That's what happens for two years with our family. Leaving Sunrise was the best soccer decision we have ever made. Sunrise is a burden, a bunch of low life coaches without any consideration to kids. GC is the worst

If you are truly a former Sunrise parent the only thing you can do on this site is to vent. No matter how you feel about Sunrise no one will listen to you. Parents will continue taking their kids there because the know how to win and that is all parents care about.
