Congrats on beating the only public school in the finals AH. Should call these the private school championships where we can recruit the best players and offer scholarships.

My daughters team played both Archibishop and Montverde. They both were great teams but Montverde definetly stood out as the better team in my eyes.

Wow all the archbishop fans are going crazy. You guys talked all that crap all year about how your national champions and all that and you couldn’t close the deal. Should’ve never been ranked that high. With all the talent that you had it’s a shame you didn’t have a coach that knew what he was doing or you would have won. 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A Championship won by private school. 1A, 2A, 3A were all private schools in the final. 4A beat public Gulf Breeze. 5A had public schools in final- Palm Harbor U beat Cypress Bay. Every game except 3A ended by one goal difference.

It is a sports academy. 75% of the girls roster is international. The coach doesn’t even speak English as a first language.

Congratulations to all the private schools that won. Not your fault the rules are broken. Now FHSAA, Get real.. You need separate Public and Private school championships. When will you realize this?

Such a simple solution and better for everyone except certain private schools won't be able to play for state championship virtually every year. Truthfully they should welcome to. Make it meaningful to win a state championship by playing for it against other similar recruiting schools.
