I get it! TBU is the biggest club in the area and rightfully so places a lot of girls in college. We all get it. We all know Celtic doesn't compare to TBU. We hear it all the time. But no need to throw shade at Celtic. For the size of the club they are and then number of girls they have they do an excellent job of getting girls to play at the next level too.

To compare them to Oldsmar and Tarpon Springs (Liverpool) is just being petty.

Lack of leadership on the girls side at Clearwater has killed the program.

Not sure how stating “Clearwater Chargers on the girls side” is trolling? They have some really good teams on the girls side

Funny thing is the Clearwater has a Technical Director for the girls program. That seems like a bit overkill for the amount of girls teams at Clearwater

Everyone has their own definition of what are “really good teams on the girls side “.

Not trolling… But does this club even have girls teams in every age group?

Just so we are clear one of the teams you were talking about at Celtic was the 02 right . Think
They played Oldsmar last week lost 5-1 to them so it's kind of okay to be petty .

At the end of the day, if you are at a club where the top priority is truly developing the talent they have and are doing their best at giving the kids the most exposure to college coaches then that's a win. Too many clubs in the Tampa Bay area are money pits where the DOC or Club Director doesn't give a crap about your kid (*cough* WFF)

Playing at TBU or one of the other clubs isn't for everyone. If you find something that fits what you are looking for then go for it.
That is the thing, not all players are committed to the demands of the environment within TBU's ECNL program, so it is not for everyone. Not saying anything wrong if it isn't. For those that it is a fit will see the staff put the effort in for your kid. After all, there has to be some reason club soccer cost the amount it does at the ECNL and DA level.

Stream of consciousness doesn't usually work well on a soccer forum. What is your point in understandable English please?

Just so we are clear.... since you are an Oldsmar supporter you should put ALL the facts out there:

                          1. The Celtic 02 team was missing 6 starting players due to high schools playoff games last Friday night when Oldsmar won 5-1. The same team that you tied 2 weeks prior when they had their entire squad. But I am sure you don’t recall that.

                          2. Also the post about Celtic 02 girls said “the club has some decent talent on its 02 team”. Reading is fundamental. It says nothing about that Celtic 02 team being a great or excellent team. Because they aren’t. That team is not that good. And neither are the Oldsmar 02 girls.

                          Are we clear now??? #yesyouarestillpettty

                            ^^^^Great post^^^^^

I would love for my kid to play ECNL however MY family feels that financial and travel commitments aren’t worth it in the end for us. TBU ECNL is the BEST way to get exposure to college coaches. No denying that fact. However it isn’t the only way.

The Chargers Girls program is DEAD. It is probably the worst in Tampa Bay. They don’t have 1 Girls Youth Academy team. Their top girls teams play in CDL Div.2. Also as a Club they are losing teams every year. TBU, Florida Premier, WFF are all stronger then the Chargers now. And these are all FACTS. Once the the USDA announces this week that TBU will get the full DA the Chargers USDA program will die out as well. Welcome to reality.

I guess your right. If they do not have 1 youth academy team then the future is not that bright. Why has the girls side falling so badly at Clearwater?
