No one big coming for that job. Female probably given that the AD is female, but no one big. Who is a successful female coach that would want that job? CT from Monmouth? She would be good but don’t see her leaving. KC from Bucknell had a terrible season. KB is older and wouldn’t leave Colgate at this point although that’s where the AD came from. Maybe they’ll pull SR out of the recycle bin. Lol. They’ll get a lot of good D1 Assts, but no D1 HC’s. Wild card could be Williams coach.
You have limited perspective and guess like a drunken goat
The St Louis HC graduated from Harvard and was asst at Harvard now a head coach. The Bucknell HC went to Colgate(Yale AD’s) just left that place and she was asst at Dartmouth. Both will be high on the new AD’s list. Will be an interesting month or so.
All in good time young padawan. But let’s just say, it would be a homecoming of sorts.
Driscoll? Lot of speculation last year he would take UConn gig to move closer to home. Word was he turned them down and got PU to up his salary a bit. Maybe that was his only motivation to take UConn's call, but if he was inclined to interview for UConn a year ago, why not talk to Yale?
I'm just stirring things up here, but it isn't completely without merit.

It would be a lateral move and by all accounts he's happy there. The only reason to move would be personal, not professional
Princeton to Yale is not a step up the coaching ladder.
No argument there. However, I don't think PU ---> UConn would have been a step up either. 20 years ago, yes. Not right now and not in the foreseeable future. I think SD talking to UConn last year was pretty well sourced. If true, then there is probably something to him wanting to get closer to home. Not a lot of better jobs in CT than this.
Very few posters on this board know anything. It is just fun to speculate. We are all just guessing and trying to entertain ourselves through the miserable winter.
If some lurker does know something and drops a few breadcrumbs, it just makes the conversation more interesting.

Totally agree on UCONN as it stands right now. That's most likely why he didn't take it (plus the $).
