What Acosta did to help Epstein literally was illegal and certainly morally bankrupt. He should resign his position in shame. Trump should quietly force him to leave to "spend more time with his family" but he won't. It's highly likely Acosta has dirt on Trump but Trump isn't the only high profile person who wants the Epstein thing to go away. However, Trump can't stand being told what to do. He doubles down when that happens until supporting the person becomes untenable.

As for Kraft, Trump of course is defending his pal ("he's says he's innocent so he must be"). Dirty old men stick together.
