Moderate GOPers aren't stepping up because they know it's a lost cause. Even someone like Boehner, that is definitely to the right of Kasich, seems moderate now. Look at him - he couldn't get away fast enough. The same thing is happening to the Democratic Party right now. Things are getting pulled too far to the left and the moderate democrats are going to go by the wayside. Bill Clinton seems very conservative by the standards of how the Democratic Party seems to be adapting. The middle is eroding and politics are more divided than they've ever been in this country. That's not good because nothing will get accomplished and the environment will become even more divisive. Today it's the right screaming "libtards" and the left screaming "trumptards." He said NK wanted full removal of sanctions when in fact they had asked for a partial in exchange for dismantling part of the their program. NK almost never talks to the press but they quickly slapped that BS down and said, "Ah, no....this is what happened." The minute cohen finished testifying the charade was over and trump got on a plane to go home, tweeting furiously about Cohen from Air Force 1. there's a reason past presidents haven't been able to get a deal with NK. They will never, ever give up their weapons. NK, who almost never talk with the Western media, quickly rebuked that claim and said they only wanted a partial lift in exchange for some pretty solid gives.
