    USYS Sunshine Conference

Looks like the clubs that were selected to the new MLS Elite academy platform partnered up to form this league for their second teams. All players top team or reserve team under same USYS passes for player movement and internal competition.

What has happened... ECNL gets diluted to a Florida league with new 'clubs' that are nothing more than former NPL/CDL clubs (Florida Premier, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida Kraze, LOL)

Big time move by these Florida clubs with excellent boys programs

    ITS A FLORIDA LEAGUE ALSO!!

They all are. So is every rec league. So ECNL remains stronger because its a league that has stood the changes. Ask any college coach, ECNL is the premier division outside of the MLS academy league. National League is going to be irrelevant and Sunshine, that's as irrelevant.

Just putting them side by side... I'd take the the new Academy Reserve League

Especially knowing the flexibility of the league... Whats the next step up for the ECNL clubs? The academy reserve league presents a clear opportunity to play in the MLS Elite structure.

      Academy Reserve League
-Clay County, Florida Rush, IMG, Jacksonville FC, Chargers, Kendall, South FL Academy, Weston, WFF, Lutz Rangers, IdeaSport Academy

      ECNL -
-Florida Elite, hmm??? I'll take Jacksonville FC and Clay County anyway for competition and quality
-FKK (former middle of the pack NPL club)
-Florida Premier (former middle of the pack CDL club)
-Florida West FC (old GPS West, inconsistent at many ages)
-Miramar United FC (I'll take Kendall and Weston everyday for competition)
-Orlando City (second team - first team in Elite academy)
-TBU (second team - first team in Elite academy)
      -Palm Beach United
-Space Coast (middle of the pack NPL club)

Wonder why TBU isn't in this? Chargers, FL Rush, Kendall, Weston, Jacksonville FC, South Florida Academy, IMG are all a part of the new academy reserve league.

What happens to a TBU ECNL player at his best, can they be called into the first team academy for games?

All these other clubs, makes it very easy now to reward a player to earns the opportunity.

Don’t worry, they will be in it next year once they leave ECNL on the boys side.

They will either leave the MLS DA or be kicked out of ECNL next season... boys and girls. Enjoy

Anything under USYS and FYSA will not be a high level league as they are too restrictive and don’t know how to run or organize anything.

ECNL is not a high level league. They are all flavor of the day including FYSA

Nothing USYS/FYSA has is comparable to ECNL or the new Elite /MLS league. There will be a couple teams from this new league that could probably compete. The overall depth of ECNL or MLS league is way beyond a couple good teams in this league.

The driving force for USClub Soccer and the DA league was the lack of vision and direction of USYS and the state association’s. Several teams in this league will be fielding second or third teams.
