There might be a couple of good teams in Pasco, but the overall level between Pasco and Hillsborough is night and day. For example if you were to compare the 5th best team in Pasco to the 5th best in Hillsborough, Hillsborough wins by 8 goals. Also many of the Hillsborough teams have to play 4A and 5A at the state level while Sun Lake is only 3A.

Gaither 3-0
Freedom 4-0 and they progressed the farthest of HC 4A
Leto 4-1
Chamberlain 5-0
Lost to Sickles 2-0 (fluke?)
Jesuit 3-3
Gaither 2-0 (District semi's)
Freedom 3-1 (District Finals)
Here are the HC 5A:
Bloomingdale (Valrico)
Durant (Plant City)
Newsome (Lithia)
Riverview (Riverview)
Strawberry Crest (Dover) - X
Wharton (Tampa)
Alonso (Tampa) - X
George Steinbrenner (Lutz)
Plant (Tampa)
At WORST WRHS is middle of the pack of the Hillsborough 5A (meaning top 5).

Wiregrass Ranch had a great year this season. but, the earlier post about weak scheduling is true for Sunlake. That 3A region they are assigned to is weak and every year a team from Pasco or Hernando should be playing in the regional finals. All you need is one win against an unknown opponent you're in the state final four. Sunlake has done it three years in a row.

Let's Agree
Ok enough with the county chest pounding. There are certainly some good teams in Pasco County. However, the overall talent is much stronger in Hillsborough but this is expected by the larger population. Any by overall talent, I mean looking at the top 20 teams in each county and not anyone individually.

We know who Mrs. Pasco is... LOL #10 and #11's mom
Just ask Mrs. Pasco , everyone else on the team.... in her words "SUCKS, without #10 and #11 the team would be nothing"
