Sarasota is done, and Dynamo will never get an actually spot. Most clubs looking to get in NPL anyway.

All high level senior teams should move to NPL and leave CDL and USA behind.

The state is to big for that any way, teams from either the north or the south part of Florida aren't going to want to travel all the way to the other for a weekend game. At some point Florida should be split like other big states into a north and south division. Texas, California, Ohio, New York are just a few I know of that split the state. FYSA just won't want to lose control of half of the state.
You do realize that the CDL is Tampa based? Your confused about the travel probably the longest drive is Lakeland to Sarasota. In my opinion, the CDL is basically the USA League, the top tier teams like TBU and WFF no longer send their better teams to the CDL, they are going to other leagues. Yes, you still have a club like the Chargers in the CDl, but how many of their top teams actually play in the CDL? Not many, if any, they usually farm out the CDL membership to another club. Look at the clubs that comprise the CDL and send their top teams and it looks like the standings fro the USA League in 2012. The two reasons for the formation of the CDL were to allow DOC's to have all their team play at the same site, so they could manage it, which doesn't occur. The second reason for the CDL was that bigger clubs didn't like the relegation aspect of the USA, how can we be knocked out of D1 by Citrus United etc...the CDL ha no relegation for a reason

from U8-U12- CDL is the best league in Tampa; so yes, there are clubs that want "in" on the competition.

Post the link for any CDL academy... you can't because your post is rubbish. The winter league of CDL, is for junior aged teams and they start at U11, or U12. NOT 8-12 like the poster stated.

How can they even call those games? no score is keep, no rosters are required, if a team gets up by more than 4 points the other team gets to add another player to the field... bizarre ! this is soccer, right?

Your one weird dude. First your arguing about something that your were wrong about, now your criticizing 5 year old thru 9 year old kids and how they play soccer without admitting that your were wrong. You are, as you say, Bizarre.
