Actually it was far from a miracle. Miramar was their own worst enemies the entire game with tantrums, dives, and unnecessary fouls. No composure in big game situations.

I agree that composure in big games is key. SC has it but Miramar should have won that game except fell apart. Btw I'm not a fan of Miramar's but watched game and couldn't believe they lost that game.

After watching that Miramar game I was not impressed at all by Space Coast. Miramar didn't even have a goalkeeper. They also missed a chance to go up 3-1 with a missed pk. We shouldn't take away any merits, Miramar did prove to be a very talented team. I think they could have won it all if they had that really tall gk in goal. Congrats to Space Coast!

REALLY! I thought the goalkeeper stopped the PK not the player missing it.
The SCU coach wasn't even at the game and the goalkeepers for SCU are awesome that is why they won 2 games in PK's on the way to the title.
Got to give them credit they repeated as FLORIDA STATE CHAMPIONS and will represent our state at Region III.

Thats why SCU has 2 goalkeepers and SCU still had problems getting senior boystoattend games. Have to give credit to them because they developed that team from 13yrs old.
Unlike all these teams that bring on a bunch of rentboys - that was the downfall for many.

Congrats to the Spirit kids moving on. Apparently either their coach, club or themselves did a good job looking for opportunities for the kids. Unfortunately there are a lot of clubs and coaches that don't take the time to look for college opportunities for the kids. As such there are a lot of talented FL kids hanging up their boots while lesser skilled kids from other states move onto play at the next level.
