What a great game! What happened to Malcolm Butler. Did the Hoodie get out coached?

Butler was benched as an obvious goodbye FU kiss from Bill. He, im sure, thought they could still win without him. It was painfully obvious after the first half that that wasn't the case. Too stubborn to admit he was wrong, he risked losing a very winnable game. There's no excuse. Since whatever it was wasn't enough to keep Butler from being suspended from the game, or even off the field, (on for one play) and that Butler has played 98% of defensive snaps this year, there is little doubt it was a vindictive act by Bellichek given the obvious disdain he has for Butler. I don't care who he is, or what he's done, that is a fireable offense.

Look a bit deeper into why Butler got benched-if the missed curfew, drunken exchange with a coach, and marijuana use isn’t reason enough to suspend him, maybe you want your kids playing for a really lenient coach?

So sh*t can the guy the day after you win the super bowl trophy. You still make your point and win.

The “genius” was more mad than genius by not playing the Butler. He definitely got out coached by Pederson.

What was up with that reverse on the kickoff. The GOAT choked on last drive

          Joe Montana still the best

Idk - seems Brady showed his age - unable to scramble to receive that pass or to get out of bounds late in the game, ball knocked from his hands and on the other side the #2 QB making the same plays. It was and in your face back and forth and The Eagles coach showed Bill that his team can complete the plays the Pats could not.

So I am interested to see if Gronk will retire as he hinted and save what will little of his brain is left. He should probably get fellow concussive Patrick Chung to join him. No way the latter should have allowed to return. OMG then Butler would have played. Fortunately he left towards the end. Why are we talking about such a Neanderthal sport here anyway?

Cuz he's a loser or at least he was on Sunday. I couldn't have been happier with the results. Anybody but Kraft.

Find a post Super Bowl pic in the past 20 years of qb’s shaking hands after the game. With the chaos on the field, it doesn’t happen. Much ado about nothing and you rubes drink it up like a keg of crap beer.

Who cares about the hand shake - coaches job - players say hi to friends. How many games does your kid smile and say great game after a loss. Bottom line the goat and the genius showed they are fallible and with the Pats defensive coordinator out there spreading the genius's magic at Detroit it's just the beginnings of an end. Outdone by a team that wanted it more and had the means.

Before the game an announcer was talking about how Brady wasn't nervous, to him it was just another game blah blah. No it isn't just another game. I won't say the Pats were cocky but they were blase. The Eagles wanted it more and sometimes that little extra "something" is what wins you the game.

I was at the AFC Championship and it was the same way. There was zero energy in the stadium until the very end both from the players themselves and the crowd. Something simply wasn't right with this team, it was incredibly evident. At the end of the day, the better team won. It's not a stretch to conclude that much of it, at least on the defensive side, is going to be blown up and rebuilt, especially with all the coaching changes.
