The team is selected from the schools that encompass the distribution of the CT Post newspaper. It's their All-Star team, not a state wide team.

So any player outside of Fairfield County is not even considered. Frankly, kids from towns on the extreme edge of Fairfield County or those schools that play outside the FCIAC or SWC also get overlooked.

It's the nature of the beast. I vote for members of this team every year. Tough to make viable choices, since many of the players in the area pool are not seen by all the coaches submitting ballots. Have to rely a lot on reputation.

            Thanks Captain Obvious

They pull from their geographic area namely the SWC and FCIAC. It’s not supposed to be from all areas of the state

Just like The Hartford Courant or NH Register pull from their geographic area

So, no Uconn rumors seemingly true as Uconn is not in bio.
There are a few boys and I girls on these lists that don't have their college commits listed, and that's just the ones I know. DOn't read too much into it.

Glad to see that man in black not win.
The man in black runs a tight ship. Someday he'll get that trophy. Meanwhile he'll keep making life difficult for others.

He's a worm and a bully. his players don't like him other than his favorites. Other coaches don't like him. Parents don't like him

He plays a good system of pretty soccer. He's won some cups. I will give him that.

Was voted SWC COY, by other coaches.

Yes he's a crusty old coot but in a curmudgeonly way. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea. However, with two coaches getting tossed for offenses this year he might want to clean up his act.

Yankee mentioned Uconn everytime they wrote her name. For a minute, I almost thought Uconn was her last name I saw it so often.
