That is what you come up with. 2010 girls???? They are just learning to tie their cleats. Explains a lot about where these posts are coming from though. Thanks for a good laugh though.

You asked for an example, and I gave one. A real one. Maybe Bayside players are still learning to tie their laces at that age, but not NEFC or Surf.

I tied my kids laces at u11 and he was NEFC at the time. Got a problem with it? At least he didn't run around during the match with his boots untied.

Surf and Juventus have joined EDP. There is no NEFC left. So what you have is:
          Bayside
          Bruno
          Liverpool
          Rams

Not much of a league To be honest. Rams only have a couple of teams.

There are NEFC teams left and good ones. The central teams are allowed to play in RI so that will be fine and they are good! They just do t know if they can play games in MA but they will be allowed to play in RI as long as symptom free etc etc

I think it’s a shame that an ex Bayside parent of the Girls 2010 team who clearly left for Surf has created so much drama and has put down the coaches, club, parents and players. Pathetic. From what I hear those players who left were the weak ones anyway. Karma will get you back one day. Careful. Your little Alex Morgan ain’t that great to allow you to stir the crap each day. Go Have fun playing more kickball at surf.

Wait, the whole team left and you're suggesting only the "weak ones" left. That would suggest that an entire Bayside team was made up of weak players. But I thought all Bayside teams were great? But then someone also says that at Bayside, U11s are only just learning to lace up their cleats? So confused.

Half the team stayed half the team left. It was ugly and not at all necessary. The team was growing but some parents thought that they could get something better at Surf and left. However the core team, very talented players, stayed put and rumor has it they will be strong as East Prov has a solid strong soccer community to pull from.

Since this thread is about Superliga and Club Coaches agreeing... lets agree here to stop talking about the crap between NEFC, Bayside and Surf. Who really cares at this point? Bigger question to solve is how can we come together both youth soccer (superliga) and Clubs to get the word out to our Governor that soccer can be played safely with the added safety precautions already implemented by the clubs at practices. We will likely be able to have games this fall if we stand up together and submit a safe game playing proposal asap to the governor. She is very interested in proposals being put before her that make sense. Who can do this? Must be done soon as she is making decisions asap on fall sports. Other states are playing games, so can we.

                    Items to include:
Travel Games Played in Sate only OR possibly within approved North East states (MA, RI, CT)
                    No tournaments this fall.
Masks on all adults except referees when on field.
                    Sand sanitizer available.
Temp checks all players before warm-ups.
No kids attend games with symptoms.
Team quarantined if a team mate is tested positive for COVID.
Player only quarantined if family member tested positive for COVID.
Space out parents on side lines, and limit number of spectators.
Games not open to the public, parents only. 2 guests per child.
No concession stand foods unless packaged ie water bottles, granola bars, popsicles.
                    No handshaking or high fives.

I believe this information should get to the President of Superliga who from my google search is: President Lisa DeLemos LDelemos@thesuperliga.com.
or Director of League Operations Oscar DeLemos
                      I am not sure though.
Is there a president of Club Soccer? That sounds funny. No idea.

Love this idea send a Game Plan to our Gov. It sounds better than sending a petition to the governor. More constructive. Might want to add to concession stand items: hand sanitizer, disposable masks, gatorade, packaged candy, packaged chips, packaged cookies.

I would also ask families to sign waiver not holding clubs, or Superliga responsible or field owners, or towns responsible.

Your a good negotiator. maybe not give in to everything on the 1st proposal, seeing that children are not at harm?

That's a good point especially regarding the out of state travel and tournaments.

But we do have to realize the children's teacher, parents, and grandparents are at risk so even though the kids are for the most part good to go, and waivers are signed, we should limit the spectators, and ask parents to wear masks. I would also ask each child to use hand sanitizer after the game. Another thing kids can do to protect adults, ask them to go straight home and remove clothes, and shower before being around their extended family.
                            Just really encourage hygiene.

Most if not all the kids will be in school - way more opportunity for an exposure or event there than just weekend games. Any outbreak that results in schools closed will spill over to sports. The smart thing is hold off on games until Mid- Sept - you'll know them if the first few weeks of schools have resulted in closure or a sustainable situation.

                              Tournaments are just inviting trouble.

also, press your school board to kill MS soccer for the fall - let those kids just play club or town soccer.

I don't see what the schools situation has anything to do with our youth programs quite honestly. This isn't school sports and many kids parents are already opting to homeschool so you won't get a fair assessment of how kids are affected when not all kids or districts are returning to in school right away. Let the youth sports and clubs continue to phase open with games this fall. If you really feel pushing the first game back a couple weeks helps you sleep at night fine. But the real surge is happening now, not due to kids, due to the overcrowded beaches, large cookouts and parties, and don't forget the lovely protestors that caused a spike. Fall will actually be quieter time once the weather shifts and tourists finally leave our state.
