Should have been handled better by woman, school, & cop.
Regardless Cop was wrong to taser & arrest.
Poor choice by school & cop when the woman resisted
They should have re-thought the strategy
Video makes the school & cop look bad.
Civil suit will side with woman
    Excessive use of force.

A cop working a school game won't be the brightest on the force.

A “ mask mandate” is a policy, a rule, it is not a Law.

Was there proper notice of the penalty for non compliance to the spectators? Where they told that a violation of the “mandate” might result in physically being removed from the facility ?

The purpose of a mask before all this foolishness was to prevent others from possible infection. When you go into surgery , they are wearing surgical masks to prevent the patient from getting infected. Th patients aren’t wearing masks ,are they ?

Little was known about the virus, so as a precaution, health care providers then started wearing masks and PPE to protect themselves. That’s because the patient was infected , and in a matter of words the tables were turner.

if the mandate to wear a mask is to protect others from being infected , then the onus is on the Government to prove that the person attending is affected. Mere suspicion does not allow a modification of behavior and perceived rights.

This would be similar to the POlice pulling you over while driving , without probable cause , on the pretense of you being DUI.

My understanding is that the game was being held on public property. The Constitutional Right of a lawful assembly can not be infringed upon by mandates or rules.

We were going told early on by the “ experts” that masks were not necessary.
Then they were suggested, and in some cases , mandated. All based on opinions of data , questionable as to their validity and specific application in certain circumstances.
She was outside. It appeared from the video that there was sufficient social distancing by others.

it was a poor decision to confront her beyond a suggestion for compliance.

Rules, ordinance, law. Does it matter. Throw the selfish aholes in jail, tase them for being jerks. Or even better, turn away while the rest of the crowd puts a beating on them for putting them at risk.

The same liberal says out the other end to not tase violent black men who are fighting cops

The woman at an 8th grade football game....that is called for

They could have done a lot of things. Halted the game until she left or put on a mask. Told her that her kid would be benched or not allowed to play in future games. That would have had a better outcome. She would have left or complied.

There is no law against not wearing a mask, not until Biden gets in office at least.

Some then unlawful detainment. You can’t cuff someone for the hell of it, just to get them to leave. Either she broke the law and arrest her or lay off the taser and cuffs unless it it late night and your girl is a freak like that

                      Exactly right.
School and cop should have done better. No need for them to escalate this to taser and arrest.
I thought cops were trained to try and de escalate situations.
Major failure and I hope they must pay $$$$

Besides now having a fine, violating mask policy is a crime.

With the ugly mugs on some people, uncovered faces should have been a crime years ago.

She was asked multiple times to put on a mask and wouldn't
She was then asked to leave the stadium and wouldn't - and got verbally abusive
                            She was tased once
She was taken off the premises and released

Only the law abiding citizens are harassed by police for Rona rules
Mobs and riots - police look the other way
In Louisville, guy who shot 2 cops is not even charged with attempted murder?
He should be charged with a hate crime and attempted murder.
