If FHSAA were doing their job they would start some sort of league for schools in this situation. Instead it's like fighting a prize heavy weight top 10 fighter against a feather weight female. It's dumb.

If you're a 2A school and you lose to St John's in the final, congrats you're the state champ for the normal schools. If you're a 2A school and you lose to St John's in the semi final, congrats you're one of the top 3 normal schools in the state.
actually no, you are still a loser

    Sincerely,

I agree that's what St John's is doing with their recruitment of ECNL players.

How many students even attend SJCD 9-12? The school gives out reduced tuition to come play soccer and recruits “homeschooled” soccer players with incentives to get into a college with soccer.

It's kind of crazy parents would go out of there way to have kid play for 2A soccer school soccer even if they are really good. I get why kids want to play for the best club teams but pick your school because of soccer? Really???

Right. Go look at their list of girls graduating this year who are committed to play in college. Sure most are obscenely wealthy, but a few have really had to scrape by. You know, parents who are primary care physicians instead of surgeons. Homes in the interiors of affluent neighborhoods instead of waterfront. Seriously. Even a public school graduate like you can use google and the property assessors website.

Was Pickett promoting himself again. Recruits the best kids to beat up on Rec kids. Wins the final 6-0. That’s embarrassing. But it’s ok because it feeds his ego bullying unathletic kids. That guy is all about himself. Embarrassing.
