Well that was the word, but with the increase in cases across the country and world there’s lots of talk of another lock down so go get your scrimmages in and keep score.

Is this a repost from six weeks ago? Six months ago?

The fact that it can be construed as a repost kind of shows how great these lockdowns work. Banging our heads against the wall, all in the name of "DoInG SoMeThInG!!!"

I’m not familiar with what Surf is doing. However, if their house league is not allowed, how is RI futsal able to start games this coming Sunday?

They work partway but not all that great. When the numbers slowly go down, we get to do more stuff. When numbers go up again they'll clamp down. It'll probably keep happening this way until enough people, especially high-risk groups, are vaccinated.

That is such bullsh!t, but it's a convenient bit of bullsh!t, because you can't prove it one way or the other. Unless you look at places like Florida, which opened back up in what, May? How are they doing again?

Florida lags in testing so who knows how they are doing?

Sure they do (where's my eyeroll emoji when I need it?).

Click on "Per 1M people" and look at the comparison between state 7-day avg and national 7-day avg.

                Now look at ours.

They're living more or less free and we're in a totalitarian nightmare. All for what? So we can say "We CARE! See, we're DOING SOMETHING!!!"
