wow. you must be living in 19th century.

use New Jersey and compare STA or SJEB to Match Fit. Between these 2 clubs they have 6x more commits for 2021. How many ECRL players from MF committed? ZERO.

Are you saying that those players from STA or SJEB would not have gotten their college commitments if they had played for MFA?

Also btw - TopDrawerSoccer commitments are self-reported, so all this really shows is that STA and SJEB make sure their players report their commitments. For example, World Class FC is listed on TopDrawerSoccer as having only 1 girls commitment for 2021, yet the WC website lists 19 girls committed.

Top drawer is way off. Look at a club's site if you want to see where the players commit.

          Match Fit - ECNL Patch - http://www.matchfitacademy.net/girls-alumni

          SJEB - https://www.sjebfc.com/alumni

          STA - https://www.stasoccer.org/college-collegealumni

I would lean slightly toward the GA teams here in terms of college placement. If any one wants to dig into players and see how long they played in college and turned into assets for the college team vs just went a year in and ditched go ahead.

Take out the boys.GA clubs do not compare to Match Fit in any way. They have 5x the D1 commits over the past 5 years or so. STA did really pick it up with the DA, but they have already lost kids.

Most kids do not use TopDrawer any more. 2022 commits are way behind where they normally are due to Covid.

Yes on both fronts. Even in normal times TDS is self reported so it never has all the commitments listed and they show up with a lag. If you're interested in a specific club go to their web page or social media and see if they list their commitments. A club that has a list to be proud of will happily share it because its good marketing for them.

As for Covid the top kids who were on radars already got offers, then it slowed way down. Last spring and summer was a prime time for the rest of the 22s to be seen and they weren't. Recruiting is happening still of course but not without many challenges.

On top of the not being seen issue they are fewer spots out there because of 5th years and deferrals. Even when we're back to normal with showcases and ID events some players just aren't going to find what they hope for.

Match Fit used to be in Boys DA but was kicked out the same way empire was kicked our of GDA.

I think poster was commenting on level of colleges. Doesn't seem to be a real benefit looking at what schools recruited compared to any of the 3.

                        I'm hoping this is true

Not surprised they are losing players to ECNL clubs.

Hopefully GAL can become a better platform than NPL, but I see your point.

The leadership at GAL will finally get to showcase the league this spring and get some girls flowing back from ECNL.
