NLI already signed. The new coach canít drop them once the NLI is already signed except for failure to meet admissions standards or other media/law/other trouble. Sure 2021s are a different story. Thatís the whole point of the NLI.

Just an FYI & this could be the case ...If a School denies you admission, the NLI is instantly non binding and you are free to go to any school that will admit you, no questions asked.

Failure to meet minimum admission criteria would do it. Otherwise the signed NLI is guaranteed for 4 years at NLI agreed amount as long as academic standing is maintained. Luckily Oregon has lower academic minimums and sheíll really boost the Oregon team and help them beat the huskies, who think they have much better forwards. Go Ducks!

Not news? have you heard it elsewhere? This isn't a decision by the Coach. Any D1 coach would want a player of this caliber on their team/roster. This had to be a player decision, which is fine. The transfer portal and "player first" attitude that now exits, and is empowering college athletes is great. Bout time....

Gonna be interesting to see what happens if there is a season. Rising sophs are a good class, this year's recruits includes a national team goalie, the new commit is a good add and then you have a new coach. Stress on, if there is a season.

In terms of in state recruiting Oregon landed arguably the best Thorns player, best ecnl player and best OYSA player. The only problem I see is how those three will adjust to not being starters/getting significant minutes. Recruits always say they understand theyíve got to earn it and itís a process. But they often seem to think itís someone else who needs to do some time on the bench to learn. Itís hard to imagine any of these three being content with a supporting role. And meanwhile Oregon has some returning forward firepower in Cook, Wormdahl, Hardy, Rask, and has Hasenour seeming to flourish in a more attacking role. Canít make them all happy...

Preferred in state walk-on status, more power to her and all the walk-in's trying to make the field.
