You want people to look at game results from a year ago, from a U12 team? Your first mistake was thinking that it mattered.

The original statement was they beat them last year. Someone asked for proof. It was provided.

Don't get butt hurt because a small pop up beat a big club's top team. The small pop up costs may be $400 a year to play on while the big club costs $3,600.

You have egg on your face.

Look back at this post in a few years. You'll cringe. None of this matters other than creating some nice memories. By high school the cream has risen to the top. Your kid may not even be playing any longer and if he is it's likely he won't be the cream. Few players are.

exactly. these large clubs really have thin skin. 95% of 'premiere' soccer in CT stinks.

Unfortunately this true. The cup is one of my daughter’s favorite soccer experiences. Now a junior in HS, she’s one of 4 players on her u12 travel team still playing. Some have gone to Lax, field hockey and boyfriends.

Also, with few exceptions the best u12s are more often than not the top 16 and 17 year olds

1997 called and they want your “premiere” soccer team back

No original comment was they were they best non DA team in CT. When asked for proof a tournament win from last year was used as evidence. A purported win from last year is meaningless at that age to prove anything. Roster has changed on both teams. Regardless one win doesn't prove much.

Actually, if you look back at the results from Got Soccer as suggested, you would see that the 'TOP" FSA team the poser references was the NPL team (that's not the top FSA team). Also was is EDP league, not the EDP Cup.

Too bad the poser was such a douche trying to inflate the results. Looking at the results, that Stamford team has done quite well for themselves.

The Stamford team is very good I’m sure, but I’d hold off on crowning them as best non DA team in CT. Just looking at their results, this past April the Stamford team tied CFC Real, Tied Rush and beat AJAX 1-0.

It is quite probable that an FSA NPL team can beat an FSA ECNL team. The teams are pretty equal because there's no promotion or relegation (except for check clearing issues). So, the NPL teams get some decent players, as shown by their commits which are more numerous and at least the same quality, if not better, than the ECNL team.
