Does the new head coach at Loomis (LH initials) also coach at FSA (or did coach at FSA)? If so, is/was she one of the good ones? Thoughts?

AD is an excellent coach. He has a great repore with the girls, teaches them about the game (clearly not kick and run), provides honest, candid feedback, and holds the players accountable. If you do not think he is a good coach, you haven’t played for him.

Excellent rapport with girls for sure but does not teach game and enforce same style of play in games as in practices. Never corrects, let alone pulls "top" players after same repeated mistakes. Total kickball. The same 4 kids touch the ball every time .... centerback or keeper take ball away (if not deposited), play it to wing or outside back who boot it to the forward who may or may not get a touch. Rinse and repeat 100x. Same as every other FSA team.

PS - Most times the keeper bypass the outside backs or wings and punt it straight to the opposition near midfield .... in this case, start the process from here.

Don't feed the troll. This is the same guy plays the kickball rant every time. He's never seen an FSA, at least recently. Either a rejected parent or coach that is still bitter.

Not true. He uses the midfield accordingly and plays with 3 back, so wings are consistently involved to move forward. Playing time is fair - whether he is trying to win or not, and even if he doesn’t correct mistakes real-time during game time, he does it after the game with the player individually or at practice.

Who is your favorite coach and why?

AD is better than CC, absolutely. Not even close to as good as MD, though, not worthy to lick MD's boots.

Yes the dreaded 3 backs with 2 defensive mids ..... Ie 5 backs. 2 wings thay cant go corner to corner because they dont have the legs to chase and get up and back.

Maybe you should tell AD what he should be doing with his players? I’m sure you’re more qualified.

Sure. Hey, AD, stop being a sh!tty coach. Step up and develop lesson plans. Design a course to improve all your players and your team based on both what needs to be done at this age and the players you have. Then, learn better how to make adjustments during the game that benefit the learning of your players and team outcome. Finally, provide real, meaningful feedback twice during the season in writing to each player, set goals, and review progress towards those goals on an ongoing basis. That is, step up and be a coach.

She's a legend in her own mind. You'll love her if your kid plays defense or goalie. She whistles every 3 minutes during practice and holds it up.....maybe 2 minutes. She will turn players on each other and watch it happen. From the rumor that flew around FSA, she was the reason that kids quit soccer and others left the club to their rival. Good luck Loomis

She must be related to EF.

EF is actually a strong coach whose capabilities go beyond her licensing. EF understands the need to develop a strong starting team, to help carry the success that energizes the players and lifts weaker bench players to surpass their limitations on the practice field.

You are an idiot. You obviously have an axe to grind. Every practice my kid goes to is organized and thought out. Things that are identified in games are worked on.

My only criticism is that at times, he is too nice, and gives playing time on an almost equal basis regardless of the score of the game.

Other than that, he has done a great job in developing the 03's
