The 60% is realistic but zero came in the form of athletic money. 20k or so is likely merit money and the balance is demonstrated financial need
Most coaches can give a “pre read” estimate on mertit money and the financial aid portion can be calculated on school websites.

Schools like Middlebury, Chicago and Trinity have ZERO merit money. They have significant endowments and have formulaic approach to financial aid. Not up for debate.
The next level down seems to have much more merit and institutional scholarships to attract better students. Gettysburg, Muhlenburg and so on.
Good schools and can be a great deal.
