Just played her 01 team yesterday. She is a good coach based on the growth of this team which we have beaten with ease the last few years until yesterday. That was a 3-2 double overtime win for us and the score was reflective of the game. What suprised me most was after a first half where we definitely were the better squad the second half saw her team win the battle in the midfield and the offensive third. A tough off sides call against them and a questionable PK call in the first overtime was the difference.

Before anyone goes nuts and screams about how terrible a person she is or how I am saying she is the next sir Alex, all I am saying is that the same group of girls who we beat with ease over the years competed with us dribble for dribble and they played some great soccer. As a coach it appeared she motivated her kids at halftime, they didn't quit (scoring there second after being done 'n 3-1, and in the midfield, where typically we have controlled the game...she seemed to move players around keeping our team guessing when they had they ball, and definitively made our girls play backwards more the forward after the first half.

4-6-2 in the league, but it's really 3-7-2. you got a win because a team beat you but was penalized for not removing the player after a red card. so 3-7-2 in the league means you suck

One of those wins was a forfeit in a game you lost 2/0..... slow down skippy

The other team played with an extra man - the girls reserved that victory.
          Opposition coach clearly cheated.

She's a very good person who cares about the girls on her teams. She gives even the weakest players decent playing time. The only people who don't seem to care for her are the Wilton nutjobs who ran her out of her job. She was an asset to EA so it is a loss for their still struggling girls program. Lots of the HS aged girls are leaving and I hear they'll likely do a combined 02/03 team for next year. Good luck to her in her next gig

Let’s call a spade a spade. The FSA 15s that you are pumping your chest about beating will be in the Champions League...just barely, but there. And the CFC “turnaround” came at the expense of players 13-22 on JO’s roster who sat the bench for showcases and league games the second half of the season while he tried to regain some glory for the team...or at least the starting 11.

Beating the fsa 03’s proves this team has talent. If the turnaround was sooner,
CFC would have been in champions league.
A much more talented team than the boot it and chase fsa 03’s

Woulda, coulda, shoulda... that’s CFCs theme for this past year. The fact is CFC underperformed head to head against FSA (ask the 02s and 01s) and FSA shined at nationals when it counted.

So the rest of the games outside of nationals don't count?

Then is it really an issue if CFC "underperformed" head to head with FSA? After all, the games don't count, do they?

What exactly does the term "underperform" mean, as applied to this situation?

LOL...shined at nationals. You played second rate teams and needed PKs to determine a winner in two games, that just exudes offensive proficiency. That's the problem with this country, can'[t have people feeling left out so they expand these things beyond necessary. THe top 32 teams are all that should be included at nationals. Otherwise we listen to the dopes proclaiming they are national champions of the second tier league.

                        You're delusional sir.... simply pathetic

If you're believing that the CFC club underperformed after the WHOLE year they had as a club.
Stop it! 3 teams in the Champions League and you know that's the measuring stick in this league. The NA, Showcase Cup is only a $$$ grab.
FSA (01's) is like USMNT team playing in Russia vs the next group of wanna b's playing in Siberia.
Minus your 15's (Congrats to them and their coach).

I'm sure any team that doesn't win a title is disappointed, but to say "underperformed"?
It's soccer and the teams that play in the Champions League are there for a reason.
You wouldn't understand or know that because you only face teams that play there during the season.... never at a showcase or playoffs.

As for your head to head comment.... You know exactly what FSA did and continues to do year in and year out vs CFC. They park the bus and pray for a miracle. An over the top, a foul or a corner. That's the only prayer of a chance. We will take playing soccer over that style any day.
I hope you aren't telling your daughter that they had a good year or play soccer the correct way, because she will see through you also.
You sir, are just talking smack with NO SUBSTANCE.

Enjoy the summer and enjoy your Grey Cup (CFL Football title) and Governors Cup (Triple AAA baseball title) and we will look forward to battling for the Lombardi and Commissioners 🏆.

2002s won the conference while FSA finished in 13th. CFC won the head to to head against 10 defenders. Also played against the top teams in the country in FL, PDA and AZ and came out with a winning record.

FSA flat out sucks at this age.

                          Please explain the underperforming part?

Just a refresher for those coming in late

U14 FSA finishes 9th, CFC 3rd. Head to head FSA wins then ties. Nationals FSA doesn't go. CFC Champions level 1-1-1
U15 FSA 5th, CFC 9th. Head to head CFC wins. FSA squeaks into Champions go 1-0-2. CFC NAC 1-2-0
U16 FSA last, CFC 1st. Head to head CFC wins. FSA didn't go. CFC Champions 2-1-0
U17 FSA 7th, CFC 3rd. Head to head FSA wins. FSA NAC go 3-0 and win title in PKs. CFC Champions level 1-1-1
U18 FSA 11th, CFC 7th. Head to head tie. No event that age but CFC would have been NAC and FSA Showcase level

FSA can't stop raving about one team that won the B title. They only had one team in a top flight, CFC had 3. One team won ONE game all year. That team, at their prime recruiting age, did not to nationals. And lest we forget FSA cancelled on FL at the last minute, denying all their teams a showcase opportunity. They then pushed NPL teams aside for Jeff Cup to give the shortchanged ECNL teams a chance to showcase at a weaker event.

Whoever you are please stop. It’s beyond embarrassing

Whether it’s the Grandfather bragging about the undefeated u15s at Nationals or the 01 parent claiming they are the best team in the Northeast it’s got to stop. There were 5 teams from the NE conference that made Champions in U17 including FC Bucks. Those are the best teams. Ending the season on a high note was great but let’s not get carried away. That was against teams 32-64

I couldn’t agree more, the last half of the season you would think there were only 14 players on the team. So much for development!! Too many selfish players, and too many cliques on the team. OB plays favorites big time!
