A lot of it has to do with population numbers and soccer's market penetration, but much of that would probably fall away with an honest per capita analysis on players that come from Broward adjusted for player participation percentages in soccer.
An analogy would be , why does it seem like all the the @sswholes, idiots, and trashy moms seem to come from Broward county. A lot of that would be accounted for by the population numbers and fair weather sports fan /pile on thing down here.
