With the reality that COVID 19 is here for the long run, probably several months, there would be no point in trying to rush into finishing any leagues or participating in upcoming events. With the new job report at 3.3 million out of work in the first week of lock downs, there is a high probability in that up to 30% of the workforce will be unemployed in the coming months.

I see posts about paying coaches and clubs and standing in solidarity with them. It should be the opposite, the clubs should be taking whatever funds they have left and sending it back to the families. Whether the clubs survive this time or not, it irrelevant. There will be a strong need by working familiies all over Florida soon.

for people thinking like you trump is where it is - Don't worry Corona would not even affect us, 2 weeks we are cured and done - LOL ... Rather than thinking that obtuse, think on ways for the clubs to train over the summer when things gets better. Because this season is over. School year would be finished online, no more tournaments...

we need to help the ecosystem and getting the money back is not a solution. think outside the box looser. think on ways to reinvest the time once the covid is gone. gringo go home

Is there a clause in the club contract that fees will not be returned for things out of the clubs control? The coaches have contracts too. Agree the soccer and school will not resume for spring and summer too.

You need to stop complaining. Cdl season was over late January. Covid 19 started late February. You don't have a legitimate complaint.

Most clubs are non profit and cant afford to refund all the money - clubs have admin staff, coaches and other overhead costs. People are online calling for everyone to spend money on take out food to keep the local restaurants and their employees going because they are part of your community well so are the local sports clubs no one will go without eating because they didn't get their $150.00 registration fee back from youth sports

DA and ECNL still have a lot of season left, and fair amount of travel expenses paid for. I am sure if or when the season is totally canceled the clubs will have to return the team funds that were not used. Clubs fees might be different.

Who in the hell started this thread. My guess is a broke parent. I'm sorry you are broke. You live in the most develop country in the world. You can't spare a few dollars to help your community in a time of crisis. In your entire adult life, were you able to accumulate a few bucks?

The travel team account funds need to be returned today because spring is done. Club fees should be partially returned because the players only got 1/2 the year of soccer.
