But, how does that affect the travel? Still same travel, no?

Same travel, even lower quality competition.

So, the answer to the comment "the league will have worse travel" is "no", correct?

Why do you care? Does it personally affect you?

If you're in GDA you should care. Competitive quality continues to go down, both locally and nationally. There just aren't other quality clubs to fill holes left by departing clubs

How did it go down locally?

Nationally, how many of these local teams are playing a Real CO anyway?

                Omg, the dreaded ripple effect.
You could drop a nuclear bomb on all things soccer in New England and there wouldn’t be a ripple

The only ripple effects I’m familiar with involve a splitting headache and an avoidance of bright lights....

So you feel it’s your responsibility to run to TS in a panic , and inform the TS readers about the plans of a club in TX and Colorado. Hear he, hear he. The world is coming to an end. What are you, the town cryer or Paul Revere?

A for effort, but C+ for execution. One too many syllables in the first line, one too few in the last.

There's been at least 12 quality clubs that have left since GDA inception. Slots get filled with clubs like Seacoast. But hey if you guys are happy....

It means that there will be less coaches at National Playoffs in Oceanside.
Likely little effect for now, but as DA slides nationally, it's value erodes locally.

While these clubs don’t affect our Region, it’s still interesting that Real Colorado,a big club that has produced Nat’l team players and colleges players, only a year ago dropped ECNL in favor or DA. Now they reverse course so you have to wonder what drove that decision.
