The minute he brought up FIFA rankings you should have known that you were dealing with an idiot. I wonder what he was saying when the USA was ranked 10th a few years back. Probably wouldn't fit his silly point.

I believe if we were ranked number 1 then you wouldn't be calling it silly.Who's the silly one ? & as for the idiot before you or tho probably the same idiot, Covid did not stop 4 international games .So no you can't use Covid as a excuse.

Serious question? Do you follow international soccer at all?

Do you follow American's abroad playing in Europe at all?

Iceland,Ireland,Belgium Netherlands,Wales, ratio of European players playing top level per population for each country & then compare the USA.Numbers dont lie.Would like nothing better that to flood the European leagues with US players but it's always Numbers & percentages that give the success of country's doing it right. Oh & yes these countries had Covid also.

The USA is ranked higher than Iceland, Ireland, and Wales. So how does that prove your point. Also, ate you aware of the international transfer rules governing player movement to Europe or are you just a TD genius whose kid has been playing for a couple of years and now you are a soccer expert?

To you posters either too stupid or too lazy to follow the game and the numerous Americans playing well on the largest stage in the biggest leagues in the world...just watch how the US plays in World Cup qualifying and how these young players develop over the next cycle.

As long as Greg doesn’t call in a bunch of retread MLS scrubs, the US will surprise many and do well internationally.

                  Mark it down.

                  Pulisic
                  Adams
                  McKennie
                  Reyna
                  Dest
                  De la Fuente
                  Richards
                  Weah
                  Steffen
                  Musah
                  Robinson
                  Aaronson
                  Sargent

That’s just off the top of my head....all under 24 I believe.

No one is saying that dumba55.

Those counties have the strongest professional leagues in the world with ridiculous levels of Monopoly money to throw at players, coaches, and academies.

The US doesn’t have that. Not even close.

But your argument is a straw man fallacy argument and has nothing to do with the FACT that the US is improving and we have a number of very bright young players. Some developed mostly in Europe, while many stated their youth careers here and have moved to Europe to continue their development.

You literally just confirmed that you are an idiot... The sad thing is the information is readily available with just a bit of research but you are actually choosing ignorance... carry on...
