It’s time for the Northeast states to instead of being a bunch a Karen’s and border police, to band together and talk to the higher ups. There should be no issue with any team crossing state lines at this point. Kids can get tested daily if they want, kids wearing masks, people are getting vaccinated and not crowding, we’ve come to far to go backwards. Time to stop the foolish border rules. Not thinking about kids anymore. Private schools have kids coming full day across borders I think games can happen across borders too.

    Logic.

True. However, it would take an army of Karen's, as they "covid rules police" would have to go to numerous locations to throw a net over all these rule breakers. So not very likely to happen. Furthermore, like I stated, these kids have had a great year to this point, the ones that stayed at RI "clubs", terrible seasons to this point.

MA, RI, CT should all be one set of soccer rules. With an understanding that all teams from all three states can play, practice have tournaments in all three states. Put all three together you still aren’t even close to the other stats in size. It’s very unfair the governors are not uniting forces and rules between small states. When will the soccer rulers of the northeast speak up for interstate travel, inter state commerce it’s all connected up here?!

You do have 3 democrat governors in these 3 states so they should get together and yes make 1 set of rules.

In the spring NJ/NY/CT/MA and RI were following similar rules on interstate travel. Maybe not on sports but on commerce, school etc. Makes so much sense given how many people travel in and out on a daily basis

Yes this is the only way to move through this together. The whole mind set of keeping people out of a state, when we are all citizens of the same country has gone too far. It was understandable a year ago when we were sorting thorough the data and not wearing masks, but now it’s a year later, move on for the kids.

Except for the fact that you don't. Baker is not opening the border with the others, his way of "owning the libs" I guess. RI and CT allow for each other to have games no problem.

Who’s in charge of soccer in MA? That person needs to go to Baker.

Sorry, take CT out of that list .... Governor Ned is Cuomo's B|tch, not Baker's. Dont forget that. We do what NY says.

Sort of. RI teams can leave to the state to play, but out-of-state teams still can't come in. It's absurd.

"All sports organizations, teams and groups are prohibited from participating in tournaments, matches, games, competitions, camps, clinics and practices with out-of-state teams or sporting groups in Rhode Island..."

CT teams can play single games/no overnights out of state now.

                              Foolish
RI teams can leave RI but nobody can play there.
                              CT teams can leave CT.
MA can leave MA but nobody can go there.
So MA and RI can only play each other in NH or CT?

Nothing seems to have changed since fall.
                                See you all in NH.
