FTL is very different from Miami. The club they’ve envisioned works in Miami. Not sure if it will in FTL other than some 5000 or so diehards.

Relegation model will never work in the US - it’s apples and oranges , the buy in is almost 100 million for a franchise plus you need to put up a new stadium 250 million there.

Never going to happen no matter how mad and snarky you get

What the heck are you talking about , it’s pretty much sold out

I can see the team just staying in FLL and not dealing with Miami politics

You get north broward , west broward and south palm beach - lots of non Cuban Hispanics who actually watch soccer

as i understand the biz plan, the idea is not to fill lockhart with 15,000-20,000, yes, that can happen. the idea is to get top int'l talent to miami to play in a larger facility comparable to other top int'l venues. that's a home run. yes, they can hit single and doubles in FTL, you're partially right.

No, he did not get sacked. I just saw him get on the bus heading to DA Cup :)

This coach is working the boys to play his style. Regardless if teams play a double 6 or 5 in the back. There are a handful of kids on the team that do not belong from day 1. Not sure how they got picked but that ship has sailed. That is the area that brought this team down a bit because some of the best competition for a few positions are on another team. Next year there will be changes to this team with 03 moving up and 05 coming in. The coach definitely knows what he wants from the boys and is very specific although some boys continue to make the same mistakes. Some players were great at previous clubs but have not raised their game or are playing nervous. It will be interesting to see how the team does this weekend and in the second half of the season.

This is exactly true. It appears that some individuals have already shown some promise and those are the players who the club plays. They are in the business to create professional players. Other players and results will be sacrificed.

Then why are they hiding from clubs that regularly beat them. You would never see Real Madrid scared of Leganés. The goal is to play them. That breeds competition. Not hoping to play them if you are lucky in some crappy cup competition every 4 years.

This isn’t Inter Miami’s fault. We can debate the model of IM, the staff, playing style, results and talent ID all we want. I don’t think anyone would debate that USSF and DA from a federation standpoint, aren’t idiots. That may be the one thing everyone agrees on.

Hiding?? Please explain! We’ve played all mayor MLS teams and also beat them. AU, Dallas Texas, Houston Dynamo, top Mexican teams such as Rayados, Toluca, Monterrey and the boys are playing a showcase this going against the best teams in the USA including Kansas City. And we’re hiding? Really?
