Germany beat Colombia 4-0 in the other game....Are those Germans bad at any age group?

Good to see our top U17s are not playing DA but are playing in Academy teams in Europe.

Agreed, even those playing DA are not the best players in our country but the ones who can financially afford to play in the "good old boy" pay to play system.

So you think Carleton, Garces, Sands, Akinola, Goslin, Durkin, Lindsey, Golster are paying a dime at their MLS academies? Good old boy system, the only reason Weah is at PSG is his father, you can't really get more good old boy system than that.

Ok they were in DA. The big question is what happens in the next 10 years?

Since we're talking about 16 year olds most aren't in Europe because they can't until they're 18 without a EU passport. Like you said it's what happen once they graduate from HS that matters. If they're soccer smart they go to Europe. If they're book smart they stay here and use the full ride scholarship to get a great education.

These players need to go to Europe. The American DA coach is a about as useless as a screen door on a submarine.

Not sure and any can make a team on Europe except for about three

A good portion of these players are in MLS clubs and already signed contracts. MLS clubs are getting scared of losing kids to Europe at 18 so they are signing good but not great kids younger and younger lately. Sporting KC just signed a 15 yr old.

i don't know, that seems to be where we drop off. Wherever they go, they need to play, Carleton can't sit on the ATL bench for the next three years, same as Goslin, and Sands and Durkin who all already signed MLS contracts, they need to be training with professional level players but then also getting opportunities to play whether it's a European u23 team or the very worst playing every game for their USL affiliate

well, we know you do not know what you are talking about. There are no full-ride soccer scholarships.

Soccer scholarships are 1-year partial scholarships split between multiple players.
