    That's true to a certain degree. I do think that's changing.

    However even those with dual passports may not be able to afford to go over to Europe. In the long run, It's not scalable to rely on Europe and a second passport to develop our kids.

    A great example is Josh Sargent who has to wait until he's 18 to play for Werder Bremen. How better suited would he be if he left at 16. Haji Wright or Nick Taituge for Schalke as well

      Perhaps not to do long term training, but it's very workable for short term programs. You can go to Europe a few months or even just weeks at a time without needing a visa. Classic example is the Revs kicking out (blanking on his name) for doing something abroad during winter break. So shortsighted. Players should be allowed to pursue opportunities until teams here can afford the same level of training.
