At the younger ages it should all be about skills. You get that with time on the ball. I don't care if they win and I don't care if the ref makes bad calls. What difference does it make? Did my kid work hard and play well? Did he have fun (if he ain't having fun there is no point). Did the team work as a team?

The club has changed a lot....last year and for the previous few it punched above its weight in the NPL given the player pool and facilities and held its own in the local leagues with good training and players that had been bought through from a young age, along with some good coaches. The club lost many of these players, around 30 to BS/FCW this year alone due to some of the new academy ages and changes to the staff (again) and that has hurt them.
It has clearly taken a step back in terms of the quality of play and where teams were towards the top of leagues last year, they are now towards the bottom of most tables, coupled with the continued poor fields, competing on a regional level will be tough. Maybe it will move away from NPL and just play in local leagues as a result....
Interesting view on the coaches, not sure that is how most see it, but again maybe taking a step back and focussing on competing in more local competition and building from there is the future of the club.
