That wasn't from a CFC parent. There's 1-2 posters that hammer CFC on the lights because that's all they've got to criticize them

why do u19 teams have to go to a showcase? shouldn't they be all set by now?

Not necessarily because most have some juniors on them (especially in other states where the school cutoff is much earlier than CTs), plus Coivd has screwed up recruiting the most for that age group. But typically most teams don't go. The brackets are much smaller

You should. And then they’ll tell you since the tournament is in late March and as of March 1, outside of state competition is allowed, that you should mind your own business dummy.

The state is saying starting March 1st teams can travel for single games. Tournaments are still restricted. An earlier poster said you guys are only playing one game per day. That's not what the schedule says. And what was that? Did I just read that a CT politician's kid plays for CFC? so is that why rules don't apply to you?

They are restricted as of now but it could change. Problem is teams have already been breaking the rules for quite some time. As long as all travelers get tested it shouldn't be an issue, but of course some people won't which then screws it up for everyone else.

Showcase and tournament are different no? Multiple games a day vs 1 game a day?

read the link above - single out of state games are ok, out of state tournaments (multi day assumed, not multiple games in one day) not ok.

Whatever you want to call it, this competition is playing multiple games per day. 2 on Saturday, 1 on Sunday and a potential 2nd game on Sunday if they make the final.
