Originally posted by Unregistered View PostThe Albany area would make a lot of sense actually. I’m sure all the talent is spread throughout many clubs in the area and having ECNL would merge much of that talent. I have heard they are on conversation with GA but are holding off committing with hopes of ECNL. But who the heck knows.

If the ECNL is going to add a club it will be NEFC as they are the best remaining but with 3 ECNL teams in Mass already very doubtful.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostNot exactly, the Albany metro is similar in population to the Hartford metro area with one big difference, size. Albany metro is the size of all of Massachusetts. Not practical for players to travel that far so you essentially shrink the metro population making it much smaller than Hartford.

soccer
it all keeps rolling uphill with changing names. ECNL2 or Ercl is now trying to gobble up any club they can. And parents will rush to join clubs with these letters. at some point they will add ecnl elite for the top teams. All the same thing with different initials. Just fighting for players and dollars. They already knocked out NPL. They will come after EDP next. The top EDP teams will all become ECRL
