    Maybe if that's the only way you can be seen by them, which is unlikely. If you're on the younger side, uncertain where you fit and maybe aren't ready yet, you may not want to play in front of schools of interest quite yet. You might not leave a good impression. Attending a school ID event at a school you're not interested in but is a similar level to ones you are can give you some experience/learning without exposing yourself to as many schools

      Good posts and truthful. In ninth grade I took my daughter to one day clinics at schools and ID training like this just to get a feel of training in this type of environment with “eyes watching” of college coaches as well as against other players there for the same reason. It wasn’t till we attended a few (schools she wasn’t interested in) clinics did she start attending camps/clinics of colleges she was definitely interested in. By that time she was comfortable in that type of setting and wasn’t as nervous. Makes a difference.
