Where did the departing players go?

CFC and FSA are bottom feeders in the weakest region in the country

Clarkstown 2006 (New York) is an EDP club. They can beat most ECNL teams (save PDA), including CFC and FSA.

They are in top bracket at jeff cup.

These two teams are comparable as per the Jefferson Cup tournament committee.
Spot on and best of all Jeff Cup committee is Richmond ECNL so if they don’t know ECNL I don’t know who would. Also look at U16, tons of USYS EDP clubs in the first 1-2 brackets, even some township teams.

Top bracket for 2006 (u15) girls at Jeff Cup:

                4 Ecnl
                3 Edp
                1 GA

This group's results should be a good indicator as to how far ahead ECNL is.....if at all.

The level is the same between leagues.....but ECNL is a marketing machine that is relentless.

Clarkstown is riding on past laurels. They’ve lost a lot of kids to WC and PDA. Gonna be a long weekend in the top bracket.

Same with Ginga. But those were the salad days of u12 soccer.

When picking top bracket participants, the Jeff Cup folks take a pretty hard look at each team beforehand. They all deserve to be there.....and yes, EDP teams can easily hang with ECNL.

ECNL is a marketing machine that pumps up its members. The teams are very average for the most part.

Fixed it for you. A few top EDP teams can hang with mid to low level ECNL teams. Many cannot and most would rarely hang with top ECNL teams.

None of soccer has clear definitions between leagues, brackets within leagues or events, A vs B teams within clubs, and even college soccer levels. However the overlap only goes so far. Generally the higher level has much more depth while the next level down goes about 25-30% deep.
