Winter training is supplemental. No one can really blame families for seeking more for their girls. Surf also were advertising free training and tryouts in December and January at an indoor place in Kings Park. They obviously were looking to put together a team. That had to be obvious to you.
No one should blame a for profit company from trying to make more money. The real question you should be asking is whether the LGN or Stony Brook parents were not satisfied with their current trainers or current rosters and whether the Surf coaches impressed them????

Until the club I’m paying to play starts subsidizing our fees, my kid will play or train anywhere they want. No one owns them and the longer you are involved with youth sports the sooner you realize loyalty is not a two way street.

Any club making a deal with you all are in for way too many headaches. Susa told you all to take a hike when blockhead tried to make all sorts of demands that would not be fair to all the other teams that play at Susa.

There are kids at academies that pay virtually nothing (because the club made deals with families or other teams) while other loyal paying customers that have been there for years are paying in full. Just the way the system works.....if you ain’t poaching you ain’t trying.

Add Some toxic parents from Stony Brook Atletico and some toxic parents from LGN. Sounds like a match made in heaven. These are the same parents that have been running around switching teams for the last four years. Time to look in the mirror and realize that you (the parents) Are the real problem.
