i know for a fact, because my kid is on the TDS database and she has no idea it even existed
and we didnt do it either

i think you get on it if your kid gets some media or awards( in that sense i think its a good thing0 The ranking system is based on membership ( some very good players are ranked lower than some average players)
maybe the clubs give them the info
Your right on the ranking system. I’ve seen some pretty pot players ranked higher than kids that have made a national team roster. Leaves you scratching your head. How could that possibly happen?

so few areas of the country play lax that there is more room on rosters at good schools. it's similar to crew. if those sports take hold in more areas it will be more competitive. many people have turned to these other sports because it's relatively easy to get into a top school through them.

This is the sad truth of soccer coaches. No one does anything above and beyond the call of duty and certainly not without money. If you find someone that does the extra work with a smile and no extra cost and knows what they are doing stay with them as long as you can.

Whip out your checkbooks to get the coaches to pay attention to you kid. That’s what parents on our team do. They like to pretend that it doesn’t happen but we all know that it does.

lax is a very fast growing sport- kid from texas on Duke cali and Colorado kids all over top school rosters
CT also does very well, along with all the other traditional hotbeds
boys are far and away ahead of the girls, but to get a girl into the acc is a good thing
                      Congrats to her

There have been dozens of lax programs added at the university level in the last several years. It's still a small sport nationally but growing fast, especially in certain areas

It's possible your kid's club submitted it or the college coach where she is committed submitted it.
