Pretty boring games. Maybe they should reduce the field size for the girls? Or, increase goal size by a third with also a smaller ball?

These are boys scores. What makes you think the games were boring? The score?

Beachside is dead. What league is this?

These games are from the MLS DA JV division

Another clueless (or more likely jealous) individual. OW v Beachside was the first game of the new mls league.

When OW plays the Revs this weekend I suppose that's "JV DA" also?

Yeah, it pretty much is too. How many MLS academy teams does OW or BS actually play and out of how many total games?

Yes it is. Its Varsity vs JV. The Revs aren't very good compared to other MLS clubs but they belong in the A bracket. OW, BS are B bracket for a reason.

Hardly any. It's the model they did last year for the u19 division. Playing B teams is convenient for geographic reasons but MLS clubs want more challenges for their players

What they really want is the top player or 2 from each of these sucker teams. Playing them once a year is plenty to scout them and steal any small amounts of talent that they have. When they have been picked clean they will be kicked out or relegated. Nice business model.

Nailed it. It also gives them a chance to play the bench warmers, play up younger ones, try new strategies.
