Many towns have light restrictions. It's also possible the town changed their minds after work was started and neighbors started complaining. The club also had to balance location, land and development costs etc. It's not like building anything in CT comes cheaply.

It's just not a big deal either. Someone just keeps trying to make it one because they have nothing else to work with.

seriously, fast forward to october when you turn clocks back and it gets dark around 4:30. Basically the fields can not be used at all during the week for practices or any other events that do not require night vision goggles. How can a parent paying over 4k accept that you can't use the fields that you have contributed to over the years? And NO, indoors is not the same as training outdoors no matter how hard the CFC spin tries to rationalize. You people are sheep. If you are a branch player, you too have been contributing to a field they won't even let you use because you are not an elite "United" player

sound like they didn't do their due diligence before they signed up for this massive expense. Sounds pretty stupid to me. They must have a bad lawyer. You would think they got approval from the town for lights before doing this. Towns can't just change their mind, especially when it is put in writing. #ihavesomemagicbeanstoselltoyou

They have a pretty big indoor space which has lights. Behind FSA, not sure there is a better facility in the State.
