As I have described before , the RPI fails to use itself for its own purpose. It takes the record of your opponent, then the records of their opponents. If both play likewise crappy teams, both records might be good in spite of how bad both are. There are simply too many bad D1 teams for this to work well. Instead of 300 D1 teams, there should only be 100-150 IMO.

A good example is California Baptist with a circa 250 RPI, but a 12-5 record. You will get good points for playing them.

I agree it should be divided with relegation. Then each team is not only play for success for it's year, but the following as well. More on the line, maybe more coaches will actually coach.

That's stupid. How is playing a team with a 250 RPI good for your RPI standing if you are in top 100? Teams should have to play those in the surrounding RPI % points to their standings to improve in the standings. If you play a team with a standing of 100 less than your present standing, you should be dinged instead of rewarded (notwithstanding the actual result). That will force teams to not use OOC to beat up on weaker teams.

Lets see if it is true; and see where she is going

Way past time for that coach to bid farewell.

Any other impact transfers that are known? I think after the semester ends is when you will hear more so it doesn't impact how they are treated, etc.

Sam C will end up at Penn State. I would pray to see a Penn State vs Bc game next year. That is if Sam C is able to play next season

UConn will need a handful of players like this if they plan to awaken from the dead. It's a start.

It is a start, but it is high school soccer where player of year could be tennis or lacrosse player primary sport.
