Ah I see the Scorpion parents have come on this site.
Such Stars haters. Good families and good coaching.
Move on, you are all so obsessed with Stars. Find a hobby.

Slight correction: Both Blue and White are ECNL teams.
They both play in the New England Conference.
The ECNL-R teams are below White.

History: Stars and PDA pledge allegiance to GDA and fielded GDA teams while still keeping their ECNL teams. Players were split and the teams diluted. After "tasting" GDA and dealing with parent complaints about sub rules, and HS waivers they decided to go All-In with ECNL. Only way to keep accommodate "top tier" players on two teams (and keep their parents money) was to create two ECNL teams.

Minor addition: League permitted the additional teams so they could make a splash about big clubs dropping DA and going All-in with ECNL. They technically require white and blue to be treated as two different clubs.

Thank You. This is actually very important for 2 reasons:
              1) No roster swapping within season between B and W.
              2) Oppty for 4th Club (needed for travel pairs) Northeast of CT

Yep, all about those dollah signs, suckahs.

So, you've got B teams playing in an A league, paying the same price.

If the league had any balls they would give these clubs a single team, like any other organization in the world, and ensure you are getting a good geographic footprint to reach more players.

                  But...noooooooooo....Lavers cowered.

If you have two top teams you have zero TOP teams. If they actually split it up into A and B then maybe they’d be more competitive

Blue and White run independently of one another. The two coaches both try to develop their own players and add new players from outside the club. They directly compete in the same division in the same standings for the same playoff spots. they are rivals much like any two teams would be, maybe even more so.

But I will play along. If tomorrow, Stars only had one TOP team, and ECNL added NEFC with one TOP team, there would be 3 total ECNL teams in MA. There are currently 3 total teams in MA. Same quantity of players. Same quantity of independent coaches.

So using logic and math is MA able to support 3 teams or no?

Nefc and stars blue need to combine and then we are talking about a team that can beat pda which is the measuring stick for 07 in the northeast. Everything is too watered down and too much about money. Clubs care about money not winning and losing.

Considering that there are 6 teams in MA that legitimately have a shot of beating one another on any give day I'd say there's ample room for additional ECNL clubs in MA. IOW, if the current Stars/Scorps teams are "good enough" then the current NEFC, SSS and Surf teams are as well. Of course we all know there's much more that goes into it...

There’s nothing stopping all of the girls from NEFC from trying out for Stars, to get this combined team you are talking about. They should do it.

Not sure we'd want to see NEFC and Stars Blue on the same training ground, but your point is taken. No matter how many teams you call "elite" in New England, the real measuring stick is whether your teams are still "elite" when they play in NY area and beyond.
