FYSA would not act on that. Someone will have to file charges first against CC.

CC@lwr is here to stay...legally they cant kick them out and fysa knows that...why do you think they are still there...the amendment would never stand up to a challenge at US Soccer....

You obviously have no idea what your talking about. The amendment did exactly what it was suppose to. Let me guess... you have no idea what that is....

This has nothing to do with US Soccer, it has to do with FYSA. CC can be kicked out of FYSA for this rule violation, but can continue to be part of US Soccer.

you are 100% wrong...US Soccer handles all appeals from state rulings....so if CC appeals the amendment it goes to US Soccer

I am also hearing that some of these DOCs at these clubs are having 2nd thoughts
about the way they voted in reference to not allowing cclwr their own CDL allocation.
In speaking with 1 of them they now have a better understanding and with the # of teams that CClwr should have next season, votes can change very quickly
Lakeland? Are you sure about that?

If that's the case then everyone must as well bend over and take it because the "good old boys network" will protect themselves and their pocketbooks.

Sounds like Communism to me. I think I'll go and play lacrosse just like most of the high school age kids do now, because of the this type of politics.

Nobody wants to kick CC out, we just want them to obey the rules. They can stay and play in US Club Soccer.

US Youth Soccer is the next after FYSA. USSF will not deal with this.

It could very well be a toss up between CC and FCS as to which team is better. A couple of FCS very good players joined CC this year.

Those two very good players where removed from the team by GH. They also are playing up in age along with their friends from IMG. CC U-15 is McNabbs old team he drove off.

Total number of Senior area teams

Given the input from this site, the total number of area senior teams are:

                        Girls:

                        U15 - 3
                        U16 - 3
                        U17 - 2
                        U18 - 1

                        Boys:

                        U15 - 5-6
                        U16 - 2 (Including the Suncoast team)
U17 - 4 (including the MJ team that went to Brandon)
U18 - 2 (what happened to LF team?)

Based on the above there are a total of about 23 senior teams in the area. The average number of players for a team is 15, but since some local players are playing elsewhere lets assume 18 players per team. That is about 414 total senior players in or from the area playing competative soccer.

Now there is a wide range of fees charged by each club. Not to argue what you get for your money, lets assume an average fee of $1,000 for competative player and parent. This will generate about $414,000 per year -- just from the senior players alone (not including rec or junior players).

This amount seems a lot, but add in the calculation the cost to rent the fields from the county or SMR, league and state fees, uniform costs, tournaments (which would be included in such $1000 fee), trainer and DOC fees, goals and field maintenance and other costs and administrative expenses, there is not much left over for the club.

The largest expense and the reason (other than tournament fees) that the fees vary from one club to another is the cost of training. And these training expenses are paid to trainers, parent coach trainers and DOCs. Thus, the persons who have the largest economic interest in players and clubs are the DOCs and trainers.

Presidents of Clubs, board members, parent coaches and others have amn interest in their own agenda, policies or programs.
