If sunrise does get the ECNL for next season, it will be a great option. That team, along with their 04, 05 and so forth are close to being great. They are also by far the best option if you are not DA. If 3 players or so were added they would compete with anyone including your beloved Weston group. They can actually compete with them now just not beat them regularly.

Close to being great? If a couple of the Coral Springs parkland girls leave , ur back to being Cooper City except you have free fields

Talk to the parents in sunrise before you even consider that option! Ask them what it cost them this season? DA is actually a cheaper option than sunrise!

Daughter use to play at Sunrise before we moved from SE FL. Would love to see them get ECNL.

Sunrise had very good teams in the past competing against our N FL and the GA teams. Our clubs moved on to the higher level leagues and unfortunately Sunrise did not. Sunrise was forced to remain in the other 2nd level leagues and the results are now obvious with where the clubs are today and where the girls are committed for college especially the younger ones.

How is that relevant or even counter to the point made. Obviously if you loose some good players you become average again. If the Davie girls never went to Weston or if they left, Weston would be dreadful in most age groups. All good teams draw from a larger area than the immediate one to their fields.

The point made is that with the current players on their teams (regardless of where they live), they simply need a couple more players added to become great teams. Moreover, the point made was that with ECNL, Sunrise can be a major player and second only to DA (if DA succeeds).

The December 1 release date is an FYSA thing...has nothing to do with GDA. It also has nothing to do with the ability to be added to Sunrise's rosters. You can quit GDA at any time - it has nothing to do with a club adding you to an FYSA or ECNL roster as they are governed by different registration groups. The only question would be getting out of a contract you may have signed - and how binding it is.

Didn't Sunrise get what they wanted at the beginning of the season. A daddy coach with a bunch of tag a longs. Be happy with those registration dollars and go away.

I think it should read. Weston doesn't give two ****s about your child. We told you your daughter could play high school soccer but we lied to trap you in. You are a bunch of scumbags. Doug Weston, Carlos Parra, Matt Parry, and Steven Ziegler should all be forced to resign. Blatant lies and you Weston fools suck it up and take it on the chin.
They have so little regard for their players that they would take the decision out of your hands whether your daughter plays high school soccer or not. They made you think you had a decision but made it for you. Thus messing with your family with no regard. All they had to do was say you can't play high school. Instead they conned everyone. With the deception refunds would have to be given.
