Any results or observations from today's HS girls jamboree?

A few new coaches this year in D1 girls...Nashua North, Merrimack, Pinkerton....

On the boys side, Exeter was not strong this past weekend. Also heard that Memorial got smoked by Central. But preseason is preseason!

My understanding is:

Central strong
Bedford strong
Memorial awful
Concord decent
Exeter just below decent

WHS dealt easily with HBHS, STA & GHS - 30 min games

Win more games then most teams. 9-7 or maybe 8-8 would get you in but playing a high seed would be tough round 1.

Last year it was the top 70%, which calculated out to be 13 of the 19 teams in D1 (in years prior it was the top 16). Top 3 got a bye. Teams 4 thru 13 played for the final 5 spots in the quarterfinals.

Correct- the NHIAA instituted a 70 percent rule in 2016. Each division can only have a max of 70 percent of teams qualify for the tournament.
