When you sign up for an MLS academy they owe you and they do whatever they want. When parents and players signed up for this team, they should have expected these things to happen, especially the first year. There are politics everywhere including MLS teams.

evident today that the TEAM did not maintain possession of the ball well enough to win. there are numerous reasons for this but it is ultimately the coaches job to provide the team with an identity. if the identity is to play direct, then you need to live with games like this against opponents that u cannot be overcome w/ mere size and speed. Leave this kid alone.

Agreed but the other 2 midfielders had to keep covering and sliding for him because he kept getting beaten but the mere speed and size so they could not keep any shape. When the recovered the ball the defense and goalie had to kick the ball because the midfielders were out of shape because of him. Put another 05 that can cover the ground better in there and that wouldn't have happened.

Great player but not for this level right now, should only practice to keep playing against better competition and also you are wrong about the identity issue because they have one and its the same one we had in weston. Get the ball to AP, pick your head up and look for AP, watch what AP does, be like AP and so on. If you were apart of it you would realize this. Just sayin!

Feel your you kids well look it’s a humbling experience and puts everything in perspective and it’s not a fair deal ! It’s a parent driven reason so anyone can say the midfield too slow can’t move etc etc . But the club is to blame they gave up on your kids and they told you they would give your kids a year !

Last season Weston U18/19 (Pastora’s team), had 2 or 3 players playing 2 years up, and nobody talked about that! And Nobody paid Pastora for that.

No, I think he just sees what the rest of us who are there see and that is that the coach just cares about one thing and that is taking care of his own!!! Not about putting the best product on the field. Soccer is not an individual sport but you can use the strength of an individual when you find a weakness in your opponent.

Here at IM you have VP and he not only is doing it to his players on his team but has been influential with other coaches too! Say what you want it is true just go to any game and see for yourself. Individuals that came from his program in all age groups he is pushing for them to move forward only!

It doesn't matter who plays betters, practices better and who makes an impact on the field. Just look at his star 07 the only reason you know he is on the field is that he is smaller than everyone. Wasted talent sitting on the bench for this kid maybe in a couple of years but can't play at this level right now good tecnical but too small, too weak and not physical enough!

Sitting here today and watched the U17 coach put all his players in because it's a showcase while VP played to win and won barely what a hot mess! GO IM!
