    FL NPL—Schedule

Define “shortly.” Many play in two leagues and are deconflicting one league now. Would be nice to know if we’re going to step in FPL play dates.

“Shortly” must mean a week plus.

Can someone explain difference between FSPL and NPL. We came from FSPL to a NPL team. Is the competition level the same?

For many clubs the NPL team is their 3rd level. DA and ECNL would be 1 and 2. For CLubs with just one of those then NPL would be their 2nd level. If you look at the results from last year the bottom teams in NPL were horrible. There are teams that shouldn't be in NPL but there is no requirement to enter the league. At least for FSPL you needed to be in State Cup Sweet 16. For clubs without DA or ECNL then FSPL would be their first teams. That doesn't guarantee that they are any better.

FSPL is dying... Teams are leaving FYSA leagues in droves for US Soccer. FSPL did not enforce needing to be in sweet 16 state cup this year.

Sure the few clubs that have DA or ECNL NPL is a secondary or tertiary league. For most large clubs that don't have those NPL is now the top league, FPL second and GCF third.

At least for FSPL you need to be in the SC Sweet 16? An absolutely lie! There are plenty of teams that play NPL that made it to round of 16 last year. However, they choose not to participate in FSPL the following season. So FYSA has open spots for other teams. So you CAN play in FSPL and not be a Sweet 16 team. Just go look at this season U18 FSPL accepted teams...Real Madrid are in the Premier Division and they didn't even make it to the round of 16. Better yet, Jupiter United are in the Premier Div and they didn't even play in SC last season.

FPL was a nightmare last season due to scheduling issues. The same people run NPL, FPL and now the RED league. In South Fl and Tampa area FSPL is still a big deal. Central and Northern FL are flocking to US Club

So that means clubs top teans with just NPL are going to play against other clubs 2nd or third teams that have ECNL/Da? Doesn't seem like over all good competition.

Both NPL and FSPL will have a variety of stronger vs weaker teams. Pick your poison. All the leagues are becoming more and more watered down.

Agreed. But, not all kids/families can or want to be on a top team. The kids need a place to play. I’m always amazed at the pundits on this site that vacillate between “you’ve got to be all in or else” to “you’re putting too much pressure in Little Johnny.” Other than the top 5%, does it matter where they play? I’m pretty sure a lot of South Americans play in the street. How would that stack up against DA and ECNL. You show me someone in that 5%, and I’ll show you a parent that’s very active in directly working with their kid.

FPL still not up. Can only imagine they’re struggling to get Clubs to enter their part. Don’t understand why leagues can’t at least post accepted teams so you have an idea of at least the away games.

If the accepted teams list is low they won't get any more. People afraid it will fall thru

                              Schedules

Still no FPL schedule. They said “shortly” two weeks ago. They told the Clubs “in a couple of days” a week ago. I feel for Team Managers trying to deconflict leagues—going to be messy.

                                Leagues

Who are the worst and best run leagues? Not talking about the competition or participation—talking about the people running them, their organizational ability, timeliness, customer service.
