1. DA isn’t for everyone. Girls like playing school soccer. 2. At u13 age ECNL has the best competition. 3. TBU is being coached by TM this season. 4. No future with the flames. TBU consistently gets girls recruited. 5. This is the best age to make a move because it’s a brand new team. No existing spots, no favoritism, no loyalty to a player or family.

My money is on TBU in this age group. As mentioned above, their coach has the chops to really bring this team along:

I tend to agree, but think a couple of things may be interesting. First, here’s a quote from Tiffany in the article you cited, “I think in this country we’ve been backwards for some time where people think we’re developing if we’re winning games in the youth structure and we have to get away from that.” Granted, you have to say that. Second, will she get drawn away from the team a lot due to other things?

my experience shows that famous coaches tend to be spread thin. they are always taken away for some meeting, coaching forum, PR event, promotion, whatever.

Other callings

Who will be the best “7 girls team?

Looks like TBU will have two teams below their ECNL team. What do these teams look like and what’s their makeup with the ECNL girls being pulled off? And, what leagues will they play in?

TBU North and TBU South had some pretty strong competitive teams. For the past 2years WFF had a top 3 placing. So with the stronger players from TBU North and TBU South and the 4 players that came over from WFF. Makes that TBU 07 ECNL team probably the strongest best 07 girls team in the state. The rest of the Florida teams had 1-2 really strong players but with this upcoming year they would either play up in an 06 DA team or make an ECNL but they wont have the same caliber of players at every position compared to TBU...

TBU 07 strong? They won 2 games in the Pre-ECNL league and that was vs. Jax and FKK 2nd teams, they lost every game by a lot of goals when they played ECNL or WFF even with both teams combined.

Previous poster pointed out that the team you are referring to basically no longer exists - many different players, different coaches, etc. Some of these games are almost a year old?

I believe only 4-5 girls from that 07 team are now on the ECNL team.
