You are wrong, and DA is still light years ahead of boys RCNL!

And ECNL boys is the answer? Everyone on this thread saying competition after two years is so much better is merely sticking up for their kids league which is fine. While there are no doubt a few top ECNL teams could give DA teams a run for their money, across the league as a whole, it is not much better if at all than when they played in NPL. You can not have the same players at the same clubs with predominantly the same coaches using the same training get substantially better results.

They will get better year after year as a matter of course with touches on the ball, practice and games but the competition is still the same.

Another way to look at is from the GDA perspective. Those girls predominantly came for ECNL and NPL programs. Same coaches, same clubs playing the same caliber of players across the nation. Do you think the competition is so much better in GDA than ECNL after two years? No, didn't thinks so.

After a few more years of attrition there your belief may come to fruition but as of now U15 and above, unless you switched clubs to a better coach and training, nothing has changes for you except who's patch you wear.

Not sticking up for club, but again have experience playing NPL and now ECNL and overall the competition is better. So maybe you're sticking up for your non ECNL club, fine but it seems you have not experience playing both leagues but are assuming. If we and other we know thought NPL was equal we would have stayed for the drive was closer. Also I would tend to look closer at someone's views that have experience with both then someone that does not.

What else are you and others you know going to say? We joined ECNL boys and boy its not what we thought or hoped it would be? You still haven't answered where all the new and better competition is coming from aside from perhaps playing some new out of state clubs you did not previously.

Are your coaches different across the board? Guessing not.
Has their drills and training been overhauled? Guessing not.
Has your team changed more the 50%? Guessing not.

If you're talking about heading north to Georgia and getting beat as proof stiffer competition, well then I guess you have that.

I don't think there is much debate that an average DA team would beat an average ECNL team. HOWEVER, programs in Florida like IMG, Armada,Kendall....could easily get their tails kicked by the better ECNL teams in Florida per age group. Of course age groups vary and even poor DA clubs still produce a good age group occasionally - many ECNL clubs inconsistent there too. And I already know that some DA teams have 'second team' ECNL ...that's true so you can imagine what some of their ECNL teams look like (OCYS is the exception because they own Orlando talent).

              False.....
OC no longer owns Orlando talent. Only thing they got the heads up talent wise is DA.

If OC DA is moving back to the east side of Orlando this will impact everything over there.

So.....GPS, RUSH...better than OCYS ECNL? That would be fake news.

Horrible comparison. Rush and GPS are non-factors and not even close to any ecnl teams.

That was the point sherlock. OCYS owns Orlando...their ECNL team is still by far the second best team in the Orlando market and would take, in most age groups, the Armada DA / IMG DA for an uncomfortable 90 minutes.

OCYS DA had it’s hands full and took some losses against the 04, 05, 06, and 07 Armada DA teams this year pal. Don’t lump Armada in with IMG. Not at all an accurate grouping.

key part of above "second best ECNL in Orlando" :)
there are 2 ECNL clubs in Orlando and OCYS is second of 2...

Dosent make sense when they have way more teams in the top four :) Fkk is absolute trash and the fact that Orlando's second team is better than almost ALL of their first teams is sad.

The 05, 06 and 07 OCYS Boys ECNL teams didn't do so well against the FKK boys ECNL teams.

In fact the FKK 07s beat the OCYS ECNL team 9-1 in the last game between these 2 teams and I think like 8-2 the time before that.
