Rest assured USSF doesn't care bout his kid or 98% of all players. They only care about the ones that might play for the NT, les than 2% if even that many. They want the players who are all in, not the ones whinning about high school. They won't drop the HS rule because they are dead set against it. Also dropping it for the girls means they have to for the boys - and that 100% insures the MLS clubs drop out

BUT ussoccer rightly sees s problem with a girl practicing for 2hrs for her hs team and then practicing for 2hrs with her GDA team on top of it 4x/wk. Also a problem if she has to miss GDA trainings or games to play in hs games.
Missing training at many of the Florida GDA programs to play HS would be a step up. But seriously, if they have a problem with a player playing HS soccer and DA on the same night why is it OK to play basketball, or Track? The DA's other issue is they feel HS soccer is not high enough quality, so if that is an issue, why have a coach miss training nights to coach their HS games which they feel are not conducive to their standards?

A coach is an adult working his job.
Yet on the DA webpage the post a video bragging about a girl driving 2 hours each way to play for a DA club. So when does she get her rest, or how does that help her homework.

Also not all HS teams practice 2 hours a day, or DA teams for that matter. Second not all HS teams require their players to make every practice each week. Also isn't the HS coach required to be at his games, if he has 7pm DA practice, and 7pm HS game how can he make both?

If that is what you gleaned from my comment, then you proved my point.

Not many DA players are multisport athletes because they either are full on soccer players or the demands get to be too much. good luck telling your DA coach you'll be missing practices for another sport. USSF definitely doesn't care about multisport athletes; they want dedicated soccer players.
